Bradford Land Supply Update
The Local Plan district housing requirement is set out in the Core Strategy which was adopted in July 2017 and subdivided between the main settlements which make up the Bradford District. The Bradford District Local Plan will earmark the sites for new homes, employment and other uses for future development and is currently in preparation.
Since the base date of the Local Plan of April 2013, many new homes have been completed, others are under construction and there are sites which have residential planning permission with the likelihood that these homes will be delivered in the coming years.
The purpose of this document is to provide information on the net number of new homes which have been built in each settlement area since 2013 and the extent to which the Core Strategy target has been met (up to 31 March 2018).
This document supersedes the Bradford Land Supply Statement (Interim Statement) published in May 2018.
